Desde los años 60s hasta la actualidad estos dos artistas han impulsado una prolífica carrera alrededor del Op Art.\r\n\r\nRafael Barrios, artista venezolano, juega con figuras y altera las leyes de la geometría. Sus esculturas se caracterizan por romper con la direccionalidad ortodoxa, accediendo a nuevas posibilidades de percepción. Uno de los grandes filósofos de nuestros tiempos, Marshal McLuhan, dijo en una conferencia en la ciudad de Toronto en 1973: “La obra de Rafael Barrios es como fruta fresca para el pensamiento”.\r\n\r\nPatrick Hughes también juega con la geometría y desarrolla su propio concepto en la pintura: “reverspective” (perspectiva inversa).\r\n“Cuando los principios de la perspectiva se invierten y se solidifican en pinturas esculpidas, algo extraordinario sucede; la mente se engaña haciéndole creer lo imposible: una pintura estática se puede mover por sí sola” dice Patrick Hughes. \r\n\r\nLas esculturas de Rafael Barrios, vertiginosas, móviles, dinámicas y al mismo tiempo ligeras, se complementan con las pinturas de Patrick Hughes con la paradoja del movimiento y la ilusión.\r\n\r\nProyecto H presenta obra reciente de ambos artistas, siendo la primera vez en exposición en Ciudad de México la obra del artista inglés
