Overview

For Art Düsseldorf 2026, LA BIBI + REUS presents Resonant Orbits, a group exhibition featuring Karolina Albricht (b. 1983, Krakow, Poland), Miquel Ponce (b. 1997, Valencia, Spain), Alejandro Javaloyas (b. 1987, Palma de Mallorca, Spain), and Bel Fullana (b. 1985, Mallorca, Spain), developed under the thematic framework Cosmic Feel. The booth brings together artists who, despite working with distinct formal languages and materials, share a set of underlying concerns and sensibilities.

The selected works explore perception beyond the immediately visible. Whether through references to the cosmic, the mystical, the psychological, or the symbolic, the artists approach art-making as a form of reception and transformation. Personal experiences, collective moods, and broader world energies are absorbed and translated into visual, material, and affective forms. Rather than illustrating the cosmos literally, Resonant Orbits proposes a cosmic feel as an atmosphere: a state of heightened awareness where emotion, intuition, and imagination become tools for navigating reality.

The booth design intentionally moves away from the conventional white cube, creating an immersive and sensorial environment that supports these shared inquiries. Spatial gestures, material choices, and the arrangement of works aim to soften rigid boundaries between artworks, viewers, and space, allowing visitors to enter a temporarily altered perceptual field. The booth functions less as a neutral container and more as a cohesive environment that reflects the artists’ common interest in resonance, transformation, and otherworldly states.

Through Resonant Orbits, LA BIBI + REUS seeks to offer visitors a momentary displacement, a subtle passage into another register of experience where art becomes a medium for emotional, cosmic, and speculative connection.
